This idea originally came from a prompt I received in my email some time ago. The original prompt was for 10 things I’m absolutely sure about. Since it’s Thursday I am updating it a little and using it for my Thursday 13 this week.
Thirteen Things I’m Absolutely Certain About
1. God is real To me. This is my opinion, and it is my blog. (I don’t mean to be snarky.)
2. The sun rises every day (Even if you can’t see it behind the clouds.)
3. The sun sets every day (Oh, yes so beautiful.)
5. What goes up usually comes down (Usually)
6. Rain helps make grass a rich green in color (I may never see it until August this year.)7. Murphy’s Law exists This needs to be in capit
al letters.
8. My dog loves me ❤ (Aww, I love her too! Soooo much.)
9. I need to write
10. I love chocolate and music.
11. I will kill a Christmas Cactus before it blooms (Not on purpose!)
12. Hair grows no matter how many times it gets cut too short
13. TV is a distraction. (This can be good and bad.) Updated: Netflix, Longmire, Limitless, Blindspot, The Voice, Scandal…. A few years ago I gave up watching TV and listening to music. Times were bad then. I knew I was healed when I began watching TV and listening to music again.
Enjoy your day.

Great list. Number 12 made me laugh. A good metaphor for life. 🙂

I hope you don’t mind another Reblog from my own blog. I did update it a little. Next week I’ll post the Thirteen for Thursday I had planned for today. Why next week? It seems the plan didn’t get finished on time. #Amediting #AmWriting. 🙂

This reminds me of this part of David Whyte’s poem on faith: I want to write about faith, about the way the moon rises over cold snow, night after night,. faithful even as it fades from fullness …

Dogs give love so freely. Ours greets us each day with so much joy you just have to laugh. I hope you get green grass soon. Ours is looking a bit brown due to the heat 🙂

Hi, Shelley, I don’t know what I’d do without her. Dogs are so special, or I should say our pets. I’m happy you stopped by.

The way I see it is we’ll either float away when it melts or really get to see green again. Thanks for stopping by Alice. I’ll have to see your list! 🙂 Stay warm.

So far I have done neither. Who knew so much snow could turn into so little water?

Too bad we don’t like the snow as much as “Fur Baby” does! Have a thriving Thursday Mary.

She made the cutest dog angel in the snow but walked through it before I could get a picture. Thanks for visiting my blog.
