Thinking of you and your Fur Baby often, Mary. Aspen keeps me so worried these days… I’ve been afraid to ask you how she’s doing. But that doesn’t stop me from sending good thoughts. Hugs.

Hi, Teagan, Thanks for stopping by again. She’s responding to her medicine and acts like the same special baby she has always been. Bittersweet though, because the veterinary neurologist calls it a band-aid. My son and I are happy to see her feeling better and seemingly happy now for however long it lasts. Thank you for checking. I hope your Fur Babies feel better too.

Our furry friends do become part of our families, I agree. When we moved to Italy, we couldn’t leave our cats behind – even though it cost an arm and a leg to fly them here. Hope your dog is all right, Mary.

Thanks, Siobhan, I’m glad you were able to bring your cats. It’d be very difficult to leave them behind. Unfortunately, my dog is not all right. We’ll know more tomorrow after some testing. 😦

Hi Mary. So glad the pain meds are working! But when i got to your original post, LOL… i am SUCH a sap. Two sentences into it and i was blubbering.
It’s a lovely post and quite well done. Some people really do have “pets.” I could say far too much about that (and i don’t mean that the word “pets” offends me in any way). And then some of us have family members. Wishing your fur-baby a fast and pain free recovery. Mega-hugs. ❤

Point taken. Family member would have been a better choice because, yes, she is a family member. Time to edit my post… Thanks for stopping by, Teagan.
