#AmWriting, Arizona, cowboy, mary j mccoy dressel, novel, ranching brothers, Romance, Romance book with a single father, romance series, series romance, sex on the beach, Tristan's Destiny Bonus Book 1.5, western, western romance snippet
Today my short snippet is from Tristan’s Destiny, Bonus Book 1.5. Book retailers don’t count it as part of my series because of the #1.5, so I should be pushing it hard. Were you aware that half numbered books don’t count as part of a series? On my book pages at retailers, and even Goodreads, it doesn’t show up in my series.
So, for you today, I’m adding a fun little snippet from this book.
Even a cowboy needs a break now and again.
Take the cowboy out of the desert and this is what happens. In fact, he’s been looking for a bale of hay to lift, so he doesn’t go weak. What do you think he lifts instead?
Tristan and Nora are enjoying themselves at one of the best hotels in San Diego.
“All we do is work up an appetite then eat.” She thrust her fist into the air. “Ah, vacation is great!”
“That’s right.” He leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. “Don’t forget the part about working off the food after we worked up an appetite.” Tristan laughed. “Sex on the beach again?”
“Hey, isn’t that a drink?” she asked. “I’ll order the non-alcoholic version for dinner.”
“Nah, forget the drink. I like the real thing.” He backed her into the balcony railing. “I want real sex on the beach two nights in a row.”
“Well, listen to you.” Nora pushed past him. At the door she gave him a sexy smirk. “You’ll probably get what you want.” She tossed her hair over her shoulder as she exited.

I’ll never give a book a half number again.
By the way…have you ever had sex on the beach? The drink, of course. 😉
Oh heck. Why not add a recipe for Sex on the Beach!
I had a dream about a guy who looked like this the other night.
