Hi there! I could’ve chosen cowboys, horses, my laptop or cameras, music, quotes, you, notebooks, or pens, which all inspire me to do what I do. But, today I couldn’t quite put my finger on what I wanted to post for my Tuesday Inspiration for the Muse post. Then, I came across the image below. The more I thought about it, the more this little quote made sense. It’s true. 🙂
Every moment is…
Guess what else is going to inspire me today? YOU are. Won’t you let me know what inspires your muse, or inspires you in general to do what you do?
Some of you are photographers. What makes you take that special picture I see posted on your blogs? It calls to you, doesn’t it? Why?
Writers? Cooks? Wine Connoisseurs? Poets? Friends? Musicians? Readers? Soldiers (Military)?
Moms? Dads?
Anyone?
Your turn.
Sending warm hugs to all of you affected by the recent #Blizzard2016. Been there and done that more than once in my lifetime, so I know what you’re going through. Stay positive and warm. Please be safe while shoveling and getting around. Waving to the rest of my country and the world, too. 🙂

Thanks for the new pic, Mary. Love the connection with you and the horse. The other day I was driving to work, which takes about an hour one way. I decided to relax instead of tense and worry about whether I’d make it on time ( an anxiety of mine). I have an iPhone with voice messaging capabilities. So, I punched in notes and started a new one. Simply making note of interesting signage, scenic spots and words from songs I listen to while I drive, gave me a full note – the darn thing stopped adding anything. I didn’t know I could fill up a note. I began a new one and before I knew it I’d saved some great ideas for descriptive scenes, people and verbiage in my new work. Mainly anything and everything around me can creep into a book of mine. 🙂 Thanks to voice messaging, I’m on a roll while I head to the ‘real’ job. 🙂

Well, Catherine, I had a comment written and it disappeared. Must be little Gremlins running around. If it shows up later…opps. What a terrific idea and a way to kill time while heading to work…a very productive way. Sounds like you not only have ideas for writing, but also for a blog post! I don’t envy that hour drive though. I use Notes on my iPad, one for each book I’m working on, and playlists ideas. I wonder if I can fill one up. 😉 Thanks so much for your comment today. It seems that many of us pick up inspiration from many things surrounding us. I love it! ❤ By the way, thanks about the picture.

You know what I’m gonna say, Mary. I’m inspired by Italy. 🙂

Siobhan, I can’t say I blame you. ❤ So am I, but I've never been there except in my imagination. Salute!

I’m inspired by little things I pick up here and there, Mary. Could be something in nature, a piece of art or music, a discussion on tv, a scene in a book. I think keeping our senses and minds open is a great way to collect inspiration. The quote is great. Hope you have many moments of inspiration today 🙂

I have to agree with all you said, Diana. It still amazes me when something new becomes an inspiration. Thanks for commenting today. 🙂

That was lovely, Mary. Love the photo too. I don’t recall seeing that one. Where was it taken?
I used to be greatly inspired by “nature” — whatever was near me right outside my home. Ha! Maybe that’s why I’m so uninspired since I’ve lived here. 😀
Have a terrific Tuesday. Mega hugs!

Teagan, are you talking about the photo of me with the horse? If so, it was taken in a stable near where I used to live. I like your inspiration and can understand why Nature would inspire you. Thanks for sharing. Maybe by time the cherry blossoms come into bloom, you’re find inspiration in their beauty.
