Of course this sneak peek has nothing to do with St. Patrick’s Day but today is the right time. Finally! I’ve been waiting to post this all day, but I had to delay hitting Publish on this post until it got tagged by the cover model on Facebook. I don’t have preorders set up, nor am I doing anything special for this reveal, but I can’t wait any longer to show you. Some say it’s foolish to do a cover reveal without preorders set up, but I have to do things my way. I’m including a blurb but it differs slightly from the one I will use at retailers. I previously sent this reveal to newsletter subscribers.
Double Dutch Ranch Series: Love at First Sight #4
I’ve been waiting to introduce you to my hero and heroine. Meet Randy Drake and Roxanne Connor.
About the Book
In Tristan’s Destiny, Bonus Book #1.5, a new love bloomed at the Double Dutch Ranch when Nora’s best friend met Tristan’s savvy horse trainer. Now, over a year later…
Randy Drake believed he’d met the woman of his dreams the day Roxanne strolled down to the barn. When she had to leave, they’d agreed to continue with a long-distance relationship. However, eight months ago, she’d stopped all communication with him—without an explanation. Now Roxanne has moved back to Canyon Junction without telling him, proof she’s not interested. But he can’t seem to let go as easily as she did.
Professional dancer Roxanne Connor has a good reason for not letting Randy know she’s back. Struggling to pick up the pieces of her life, she swears their mutual friends to secrecy about an accident that nearly destroyed her, and she’s not the same person he knew. Avoiding Randy, she chooses to live in a self-appointed exile, if she can ignore the craving for his touch and the memory of his kisses.
But secrets in a small town are never truly safe. When Randy learns the truth, he’s willing to give their love another try, but someone else is determined to keep them apart. Will their rekindled love be strong enough to withstand the obstacles mounting against them, or will the embers that glowed in their past grow cold under the pressure?
Coming in April.

Why don’t I do preorders? Well, some of you have been around since my blog started, and you know my history with trying to get a book out on time. Mostly, it’s been out of my hands due to unforeseen circumstances. For those of you who don’t know, if we set up a preorder and can’t make the date, Amazon will ban us from doing a preorder for a year unless their rule has changed. I choose not to take the chance. Maybe one day I will though.
Thanks for stopping by today Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

You do the same, Mary. First day of Spring and I and loving the idea of warmer weather. Of course, with covers like yours, who needs warmer weather. (wink) 🙂

Yummy cover, Mary! They say everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day — so then is every THING. 😉 You know I’m always ready for a celebration. All the best with this one. Happy St. Patrick’s Day
Mega hugs!

Smokin’ Cover, Mary! The blurb is great too – full of mystery. Preorders when the cover comes out? I’m never ready either. Congrats on the new book!

The cover model made it easy to write my Randy. He’s becoming quite popular these days, but I bought this picture exclusively over a year ago. It seems like everyone does preorders and I’d LOVE to, but… I still could once I see what my MS looks like when it comes back from the final proofread, but if it’s ready, why do I want to set preorders instead of making it available? Who knows? Maybe I will. I’m glad you stopped by, Diana.

My next 3 books aren’t quite ready and the preorders forced me to pick a release date. Some pressure there. I’ve left myself extra time, but still…

I know what you mean, and picking a date has never been my strongpoint. Shame on me. 🙂 Did you choose three different dates? Good luck with the one you published today. When I went to your book page, it was moving up the ranks.

I kind of guessed on the dates. I always think I can get things done faster than really can. Scary.
