We did a lot of sightseeing on that visit. Highways over roads on the edge of cliffs had me closing my eyes a lot. Haha

Yes, it does, Ed! I did write a draft for a book in the area but revised it when I started writing western romance. Finding Kimber would be that book, which almost didn’t see the light of day until Kimber decided she wanted a cowboy. ❤ One day I will set a book in this area. Waiting for the right story. It’ll be a good excuse to return to Northern California.

Yeah, the sound from the falls alone is amazing, Jacquie, but it’s doggone rocky ground. The small pool is very nice and cozy. There’s a long wooden stairway to come down to this area.
