Mackinaw City, Michigan February 9, 2021. Lower peninsula. Images captured by my cousin, Larry. Thanks cuz! Top Photo: Mackinac Bridge. Center: Sculpture of a fountain with running water. Bottom: Blue ice building up along the coastline.
Unashamed of self-promo today, I’m sticking in a plug for one of my books that takes place “Up north.” This book is actually dedicated to Larry and his family. Imagine Jude, Terra, and their kids viewing this in Secret Santa’s Rundown Sleigh: A Holiday Romance Novella. A heartwarming two-hour read. Carry on!
So much for #WordlessWednesdy, huh? Thanks for visiting today. 😃

It’s cold all right but colder in other parts of the country. I’m staying warm. Enjoy your sunshine. Thanks for stopping by.

Looks so cold, Mary! Though the blue skies are beautiful. Great pics from your cuz. 🙂

Oh, I certainly feel the chill looking at these, too, because I’ve stood in that spot. Even fall evenings are cold on Lake Huron. To the east of here some miles, it got down to 32 degrees in August, while camping no less. It was nice to have a husband to cuddle up to.

Last night we talked with our son who has moved to Calgary, which is the midst of a cold, cold snap. On top of that call, these picture made me shiver.

I have heard how cold it’s been up there, Ed. Way, way below zero degrees. We’ve been in single digits here. This morning one cousin up north near the area of these pictures has -17 and one has -22. Brrrr…. Stay warm in Tuscon!
