How are the Carlson family from the Double Dutch Ranch Series: Love at First Sight and the McCutchen family from the Bull Rider Series connected?

The Carlson and McCutchen families:

Caulder McCutchen, the hero in the Bull Rider Series, and the Carlson cowboys from the Double Dutch Ranch are cousins.

However, these two series aren’t connected, per se, but the characters will on occasion crossover to each other’s books because they are family.

Relationship:

Judy Carlson, our ranch matriarch, and Caulder’s mom, Dolly, are sisters-in-law. Judy married Dolly’s brother, Bill Carlson. Whew, I hope that isn’t confusing.

Crossover Books:

• Caulder appears in the original version of Cowboy Boss and his Destiny #1 and Heartbreak’s Reward #2 in the Double Dutch Ranch Series.
• Judy and Jase and his family make their appearances in Christmas at Love House: A Bittersweet Interlude #3, in the Bull Rider Series.
• The cousins often mention each other in various books in each series.

I don’t know if I’ll write another crossover between these two series, but I had a lot of fun bringing them all together.
